The number 1 seems like such an insignificant number, standing alone all on its own.  However, everything in life starts with 1. 

I had the opportunity to attend a youth "fireside" last night with about 600 youth in attendance.  The guest speaker was a 16 year old boy named McKay Hatch.  If you don't know who this amazing young man is - be sure to check out his information!   

He started a "No Cussing Club" in his high school and in just a short year has appeared on Good Morning America, The Early Show, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, Ryan Seacrest, Jay Leno and many more significant shows.  He now has a website that is world-known with thousands and thousands of members!  The most impressive thing McKay did last year, was go before the state of the California Assembly Board and petitioned them to declare a "no cussing week" . . . . . which was approved!!!

He reminded all who were there last night - that the moment you think you don't have the power to make a difference - to think twice and keep going, don't give up.  He said he never thought how far this would have taken him at the beginning - and now he is known all over the world.  He is a traveling guest speaker to thousands of youth and has made a lasting impact on each one of them. 

His next project he mentioned is to bring the "no cussing week" into all 50 states, and was told by the California Assembly, that if he could do it in the state of California - he would definitely be able to do it nationwide.  All I can say is wow!
