~ 1st Day of Spring ~

Ahhhhh . . . 'tis the first day of Spring!!

It has been quite clear these past few day's in my little corner of the world, that Spring is definitely making her grand entrance robed in blossoms exploding from tree to tree in all various colors.  The song of the busy birds seems to be announcing to all the world -
"spring is here ... the earth is awakening from it's winter slumber!" 

 I have a big flower pocket container hanging on my wall outside my house along the front porch - where every year the same birds of a feather build their nest in it.  Last year there were 6 eggs layed and all of the birds hatched and survived in their little protected haven.  It was quite fun watching and photographing their progress every day beginning with the white jelly-bean sized eggs to small little brown sparrows taking their first flight from the nest.

Spring is assuredly nature's miracle of awakening and new birth.  It is a beautiful sign reminding us that cold days are now behind us, with warm one's ahead dancing between our barefeet.  Spring causes the soul to rejoice with a smile and add a skip in our step.  It is the miracle of new life, new beginnings and the wonder of nature at her amazing handiwork again.

Enjoy this day . . . relish in each blossom you see and smell.  A new life is waiting just for you! : )
