"Your attitude in life
determines your altitude."
determines your altitude."
I'm sure you have heard that quote before. It really is true and has proven true this week. One of the members of our family (name will stay anonymous - haha), has - shall we say - really been challenged with his attitude lately. It's affecting everything in his life - school, home, family, friends, church etc.... the list goes on. We had a family meeting of sorts last night and discussed said issue at hand. Of course "thoughts" were vocally shared by
Mr. anonymous - and contention immediately walked right into our family room and smacked each one of us in the head. After some heat was fired up, I was finally able to cool it down a bit so we could talk reasonably and responsibly. Mr. anonymous I think and hope, might have realized that by working on and improving his attitude will bring much more joy and happiness instead of this misery he has been wading in for so long. AND will bless him with more privileges than ever before.

'Tis true that bad habits are hard to break - BUT - improving inch by inch, day by day will prove true that our attitude determines our altitude. And nobody else can take that flight but us. It's so easy to point our finger at circumstances, or other people - that "make us have a bad day" - or determine why we are in the mood we are. But in the end - it is WE who have the POWER of what our attitude will be.
