About Me

I love expressing heart-felt and inspired words that come unseen at times, yet powerful and profound within.
Enlightenment, in between the lines.

As you will find, I truly believe in the divine power of Gratitude. And how, by that power, it can change lives.

This journey of blogging has been an adventure!

~ All Strong ~

Standing watch near waters edge,
waves - a constant rhythm here in this corner of the world -
roll onto shore
as white foam fingers stretch upward onto sand,
immersing feet cold - refreshing - awakening.

Laughter from children
echos soul deep
in this glorious playground of nature,
as sun kisses skin warm
and sand nestles inbetween the toes.

Son - grown over night to the age of
eighteen,
comes in from the zillion diamond glistening liquid
with surfboard in hand, happy-tired
and sits next to me.
We sit silent for awhile.  Taking in with our eyes
everything around us.
We watch his dad - my family dedicated hubby everywhere he goes -
catch "fun waves" with boyish grin on face
waving his love-hello to us watching him.

Just then a group of pelicans against glorious morning blue sky,
point flying our way from the sea.
Son and I look up
to watch this skillful "V" formation in perfect cadence
ever so gently, flawlessly, glide directly overhead.
A fantastic sight to behold really.
Nature in all of its superlative, pure, splendid creation.

I interrupt the awe-quiet
and speak my thoughts out loud:
"That is really amazing isn't it?
And the one in the front - leading the rest - must be
really strong, the strongest in the group
to be able to lead them like that."

Son comments back confident-wise:
"They are all strong.  They take turns leading."

I remember now,  learning that in youth years, but had forgotten until
this very moment
as he reminded my filled to capacity jumbled mind.

I pondered deep
his words echoing, enlightening synapses,
eyes widen.
Yes!  It is true.  Not only for those magnificent birds
flying heavenward,
but for human creation.
When it is our turn to step up and take lead,
we become strong.

God-strong.
God-connection.
God-faith.
He wouldn't have it any other way.

And in unity - one with another -
the one leading is not only leading strong,
but lifting in flight,
those behind - for a moment in time -
until the weary become strong again and can
take their turn.

And the God-strong
know that because of Him and
through Him, ALL things are possible.
The word: "impossible" clearly says:
"I'm Possible."

With Him,
I stand strong, ready to take my turn.

With Him -
I wouldn't have it any other way.

"But they that await upon the Lord
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint."
-Isaiah 40:31

"I can do all things
through Christ
which strengtheneth me."
-Philippians 4:13
